A new home for South Asian stories.
South Stack Studios is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding, mentoring, and amplifying emerging South Asian filmmakers, writers, and artists.
Authentic stories, told with the grace they deserve.
South Stack Studios is a nonprofit built to open doors for South Asian storytellers. We believe representation is a public good — that when overlooked communities see themselves on screen, culture becomes richer for everyone.
We invest in original storytellers — filmmakers, writers, and artists — whose work celebrates the richness and complexity of South Asian experiences. Through funding, mentorship, and community partnerships, we empower creators to bring fresh, nuanced narratives to global audiences, amplifying original voices that the market has too often left behind.
Who we serve: emerging South Asian storytellers across the global diaspora — with a focus on those who lack access to traditional financing, mentorship, and distribution.
A registered 501(c)(3) public charity.
South Stack Studios operates under our legal name, Haldi Hub, as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law and are used exclusively to advance our charitable mission and programs.
A generational opportunity — and a gap only a nonprofit can fill.
Streaming and new technology have given storytellers global reach like never before, yet South Asian voices remain underfunded and underrepresented in prestige and mainstream media alike. We exist to close that gap — providing the capital, mentorship, and access the market doesn't.
